Shoulder Replacement (Reverse)

Dr. Kaback performed a reverse shoulder replacement on my right shoulder just over 3 months age. I could not be more pleased with the process and outcome. He and his team prepared me well prior to the surgery and throughout all recovery and rehab. My surgery was out patient. I found that even the day after surgery I had far less pain than prior to the surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Kaback and his team.

I saw Dr Kaback several times for a dislocated shoulder & fracture of the upper arm. He was very professional, very informative; answering all my questions at every visit, he was very sensitive to my concerns with his reassuring demeanor, he talked to me each time with compassion, care & support. Shoulder Surgery

It has been just over one year since my shoulder (R) replacement surgery. Dr. Kaback performed the surgery at St. Peter’s Hospital, NY, and I am totally satisfied with the outcome. My shoulder was a mess and affected the quality of my life significantly. My shoulder was in pain all the time. I couldn’t hardly get a good night's sleep without medication, my range of motion was severely limited, and I was always tired. This went on for years and I finally had enough. At 62, this would be my first major surgery, so my anxiety level was high. My interactions with Dr. Kaback were always positive and reassuring, up to the day of my surgery, and to this day. I now have much of my strength back in my shoulder and my range of motion. In the last six months, I have caught up with at least five years of delayed projects around my house that I could not have possible completed prior to my surgery. And I am back at the gym. Incredible! Without hesitation, I would recommend Dr. Kaback to anyone.

Shoulder replacement.

I am a 78 years old man. In March of 2022 I saw Dr.Kaback about a total shoulder replacement. After several appointments we decided that I would need surgery on my right arm. It was not going to be easy, because I already have a 14" steel rod in that arm( put in 30 years ago). It would be possible to remove the old rod. Dr. Kaback informed me that it's a possibility that he would be able to fit the shoulder replacement with out removing the existing rod. We went ahead with the surgery. Now 4 months later I feel great. I did some PT. No more pain,and I can use the arm 90-95% one's more. Thank you Dr. Kaback.
