In August 2017, unfortunately I fractured my elbow and needed total elbow replacement surgery. Lucky for me I was assigned to Dr. Kaback for care. He performed the surgery and all is well. He is a real professional and very timely with scheduled appointments.

ABSOLUTELY, Holy Moly, Where do I start?!.., I walked myself into Ortho NY Urgent care with an arm that wouldn't work when I needed it to...? Well the process led me to have rotator cuff surgery ,It was 3/4 of the way torn. Two weeks later surgery was scheduled with Dr Kaback. He was absolutely terrific with explaining everything , Provided me with great after care and follow up with physical therapy. EVERYDAY I USE MY ARM, DR KABACK IS THE NAME THAT CROSSES MY LIPS WITH HUGE THANKS!!! XX

Dr. Kaback did a rotator cuff repair on me 12 weeks ago and I am extremely pleased with the results. I have had little discomfort for weeks and was discharged from PT yesterday. Looking forward to full function in another month, just in time for spring. Hope I don't tear something else but if I do Dr. Kaback would be my first choice if surgery is indicated.

On July 13, 2017 I had a total elbow replacement performed by Dr. Kaback....it was a complete sucess, I have 100% mobility....it is most definitely the best thing that happened to me in 2017. I cannot praise Dr. Kaback enough, he is a kind, considerate, compassionate man. I had lots of arthritis in my elbow, scope surgery a few years ago, and then every few months cortisone shots till they no longer helped....finally the replacement. To be out of pain is amazing....

Dr. Kaback was on emergency call on 12/26/2017. His staff scheduled me for an appointment that very same day. When he entered the room, I felt a peaceful calm and was prepared to accept the diagnosis. He shook my hand, introduced himself, and his P.A. His smile was warm-hearted and that reassured me that I was in good hands. He told me my X-rays looked good & to return for follow-up in 10 days. On my return visit, he was just as cordial, while preserving his professionalism.

In mid Aug. 2017 Dr. Kaback repaired a complete tear of my right shoulder rotator cuff. While I experienced some discomfort during the recovery period, I was never in pain. I found Dr. Kaback to have an excellent bedside manner and my talks with him were unrushed and easy to understand. Sixteen weeks after the surgery I was back playing tennis and golf.. My thanks to Dr. Kaback, and to Jessica Kaplan my physical therapist at Ortho's Delmar location!

I had my 2nd shoulder operated on by doctor Kaback. 1st my left shoulder was done to eliminated a calcium deposit that was causing a lot of discomfort. He did a great job explaining everything from 1st visit to surgery to follow up. My right should was recently done and again everything from beginning to end was explained in detail. He shaved down my collarbone to ease inflammation in shoulder. Dr. Kaback is very professional and explains everything in an easy to understand way.

If you want a doctor that takes time answering all your questions without you feeling rushed then this doctor is for you. I am VERY happy I am under his care.

Dr. Kaback is an Orthopedic Surgeon, specializing in injuries to the elbow. Dr. Kaback is very professional, has a good attitude and is a likeable person. I think Dr. Kaback did a great job repairing my elbow injury, (torn triceps tendon), and based on my experience, I would give him top honors as a surgeon. Although I had a full cast on my arm for a month after surgery, my injury was pretty much pain free, immediately after the surgery as well as to this day, two and a half months later.

We are so thankful that Dr. Kaback performed surgery, under extremely difficult circumstances, on our Aunt. Beyond his remarkable surgical skills, Dr. Kaback's upbeat personality reassured both the nervous patient and family members - prior to and after surgery. His Physician's Assistant, Nomi Klein, is a gentle, kind and compassionate professional. Her medical skills and understanding of patient needs are amazing. Both are very adept at explaining things, listening and answering everything.
