HealthgradesMy daughter is a wrestler. She tore the MCL in her elbow. She was concerned about Tommy John surgery and the length of recovery. Dr. Kaback went above and beyond to find a new surgery that she was a great candidate for. The new surgical procedure allowed her to start training and competing a little less than a year. She is now two years out of surgery and competing at the collegiate and national level with little to no elbow pain. He provided us with all options and provided us with extensive information on the new surgery. His bedside manor was great and he listens to his patients and tries to find alternative options to fit their needs. I also have seen him recently for my shoulder. Where numerous doctors dismissed me because of my age and weight, he heard my symptoms out and instead of dismissing me to arthritis, he found an injury to my rotator cuff. He gave me physical therapy and if that doesn't work surgery to relieve the pain.

I had surgery to remove adhesions in my shoulder in April 2019. The care provided by Dr. Kaback and his team could not have been better. I went into the surgery feeling confident and well-informed. I had no post-op pain (your mileage may differ!) and quickly returned to my regular activities at work and home. Follow up care has also been top notch. I highly recommend Dr. Kaback! -

Dr. Kaback completed a total shoulder replacement for me in September 2019. Dealing with Dr. Kaback was very pleasant and our meetings quite informative. I was fortunate to have the ability to plan my surgery date in advance and was impressed that everything went as the Doctor said it would. I requested `out patient' surgery if possible and was able to return home that evening. I felt well apprized as to the presurgical process, hospital requirements and the surgery itself. Dr. Kaback's staff and that of St. Peter's Hospital were very helpful in coordinating the various necessities. Following surgery Dr. Kaback gave a full account of the surgery to my wife and personally called me a couple times after surgery. The case nurse assigned to me `Jodi' was top notch and stayed in daily contact with me to assure I was doing well as I recovered from home. I was totally impressed with Dr. Kaback, Nurse Jodi and PA Paval and truly appreciate the care I received. Thank you... -

I had surgery to repair a significant collar bone fracture 4 weeks ago. Dr Kaback did an excellent job. I have not experienced any pain since the surgery. Recovery is going well and Dr Kaback and his team are a pleasure to deal with. Extremely positive experience. Everything was explained to my satisfaction and I have been very happy about the recovery so far. I would strongly recommend anyone in a similar situation to seek out the expertise of Dr Kaback and his team. They are truly a credit to the medical community. Thank you for everything. -

Excellent in all respects! Right shoulder repair (May 2019). Dr and staff worked with me on PT. They wanted 1-2 times weekly, but OK'ed my 2-3 times a week request. PT reported on my progress, to Doc K. I was confident on my progress, but all concerned, tried to slow me down. My montra was "no pain/no gain", but following their instructions I backed off to "just an ache was ok". My sholder now feels better than it has for the last 20 years. Now if can reattach my bicept, maybe I'll be drafted into baseball (see TV commercial). Thanks Doc !!!!!!!!!!! -

Dr. Kaback gets a A+ from this longtime educator! He listens, explains the procedure, communicates well with family members and four months after rotator cuff surgery, I feel great! I highly recommend Dr Kaback, a skilled surgeon. Many thanks!
